This is just the Gospel Truth
Often times, we talk about our destiny and future, but we do not know what it entails. The outcome of one's actions and inactions in a long run is what we refer to as his destiny. Confused? You shouldn't be.
Your destiny lies in your hands. No particular person is created to be successful, and another a failure. You are created equal with every other person. As long as you are a being that is living, God has given you the freedom to choose any path that suits you, bearing in mind the reality of causes and effects, which are consequences to your actions. In the same way, he gave our first parents (Adam and Eve) the freedom of choice. He told them what it would cost them if they ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Yet, they chose to damn the consequences and ate from the forbidden tree. Have you ever wondered how the world would have been if Adam and Eve didn't eat the forbidden fruit? The world would be perfect. No suffering and pain. No worries. Everyone would still remain in their innocence just like a newly born.
Now, you are told to enjoy your youth. If you think that losing control and committing all sort of evil in the world in the name of fun is what it means, then, you are getting it wrong.
It is said that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Do you fear God? Do you live your life according to His will? You alone have the right answer to this.
There is a common saying that "what will be, will be" and also that "destiny can be delayed, but not denied. You should bear in mind that "whatever will be, will only be if you work towards it with faith".
One of the mistakes we make in life is that we believe we will be great in future, but in the meantime, we choose to enjoy life to the fullest. If you spend the time you are supposed to use in planning and making your success in future a reality in having fun to the fullest, when do you think your greatness or success will come?
You need to be true to yourself. In the course of living life to the fullest, some have engaged in despicable acts. It is so sad that once one gets addicted, they hardly move on from the act. Because of this, some people have dropped out of school, lost their jobs, became useless to their families and the society. Tell me, are their destinies not denied? There is no way they can recover, unless it is by the special grace of God. That is when you can say that "destiny can be delayed, but not denied".
So, it is never too late to start over until one is late. You have another opportunity to right your wrongs. Remember, opportunity they say, comes but once. It is time for you to make your mark in the world. Do not be left out.
