After years of research, observation and experience, I have come out with something I know that go through the mind of every woman/ lady. Every woman longs to be with a good man who loves, cares, appreciates and above all, respects her despite all odds.  

Below are 10 Basic Ways you can gain approval, loyalty and respect of your man:
  1. Do  not go into a relationship  with a guy that asks you out through a chat on social media/ text message: This is just as simple as it is. Going into a relationship with a guy/ man whom you know probably little or nothing about merely projects immaturity on the man's side and it also paints you to be a loose woman even when you are not. If you go into the relationship with the intention of proving to him that you are not an easy woman, you might get choked up and uncomfortable with the outcome.
  2. Be Honest: Honesty is a virtue that people who do not understand its value take for granted. Always tell the truth  and you will gain his trust and respect- you never know if that is his test on you. You never also know how far honesty can take you in life. Same goes to the man.
  3. You do not have to impress people: Just as it pays to say "Yes", it also pays to say "No". You do not have to impress anyone because you were not born to do so.
  4. Be Strict but Caring: Being a little bit strict when it comes to men does not mean you are insulting. In a positive light, it could be a turn-on for the man and it also projects you as a person that knows what she wants. This is where your principle come in. Only ladies of high esteem create principles for themselves and live by them. it makes you strong. That you have become close to a person, be it a man or woman, does not mean you have to compromise- unless your principle is a negative one. 
  5. Always be yourself: For a man to have approached you and made his intention of being with you known, that means there is something about you he likes. If you change and become like someone else, you would just end up chasing him away.
  6. Communicate with your partner: Apart from honesty, another major factor that makes a relationship work well is good communication among partners. When you are in a relationship, you should not always assume that your partner likes, hates, knows something or would do a particular thing without discussing it with him. He is not in your mind, and there is no way he can know what you have in mind unless you tell him. If not, he would feel left out and it would also seem like you are the one in control of everything and he would get tired of you. The same goes to the man.
  7. Be Understanding: As a lady, you should understand that people are different, and because of that, they react differently towards certain certain things. So, do not always lament or try to change him. If he is something you cannot stand, its better you quit than being in a relationship where you are suffocating; but if you can tolerate him, you have to be with him not minding his weakness because he would do the same for you. Spoil your man with so much love and care that he acts like a baby when he is around you, in that way, you would leave a mark that he would never forget in his lifetime.
  8. Encourage Him: When your man is in doubt over his capabilities, do well to encourage him. Make him know that there is hope, even when it is obvious that there is none. Respect your man. Do not rub shoulders with him. He is the man, and always make him feel like one.
  9. Give him space: Because you are dating a man does not mean you would always be in his hair. You'd only get him fed up when you always meddle into his affairs. 
  10. Learn to Forgive: When your man truly apologizes for his actions after he may have wronged you, forgive him from the depth of your heart, because you are the one to gain. While doing this, do not forget to take your lessons from his actions.
